Runner Lock Terms of Use
Publication status: Product-specific terms are drafted, but this document must not be published until every bracketed operator field is completed and the location-based service, e-commerce, subscription, and consumer-protection sections are reviewed for the countries where Runner Lock will be offered.
Effective date: August 20, 2026
Last updated: August 20, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Yui.ai, located at Seoul, Korea ("Runner Lock," "we," "us," or "our"), regarding your use of the Runner Lock application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Please read these Terms before using Runner Lock or starting a subscription. By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, or by purchasing Runner Lock Premium, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Apple's standard end-user license agreement also applies to the licensed application unless a custom end-user license agreement is provided through the App Store. If these Terms conflict with Apple's mandatory terms concerning the App Store or an Apple transaction, Apple's applicable terms control for that subject.
The essentials
This section summarizes the points most users need to know. The full Terms below remain controlling. If this summary conflicts with the full Terms, the full Terms apply to the extent permitted by law.
- Runner Lock is a habit tool, not an emergency, medical, or parental-surveillance service. You decide which apps to restrict, when to restrict them, and whether a workout or arrival at a saved destination can unlock them.
- Core verification is handled by Apple frameworks. Workout verification depends on Apple Health, destination verification depends on Location Services, and app restrictions depend on Screen Time. Their availability and timing are not guaranteed.
- Sensitive activity data stays on your device. Runner Lock does not send raw Health workouts, your current location, saved destination, or raw Screen Time activity to the operator's feedback server.
- Feedback is different. If you voluntarily send feedback, the message, optional email address, app version, build number, platform, and language are sent to the operator's server as explained in the Privacy Policy.
- Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple. Runner Lock Premium renews automatically when the purchase screen says it will. You can cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests.
- Keep essential access available. Do not select apps you may urgently need for communications, health, safety, transportation, work, or financial services.
